Two parties are leading in the race to buy Manchester United

The man u owners known as the Glazers Family has declared their intentions on selling the Club and allot of parties are interested in buying the club. 

The club owners has given February 17 as a deadline date. 

Bids are expected to Exceed £5 billion, and there have been five serious contenders that have emerged ahead of a soft February 17 deadline.

The two parties who are leading the race are Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the private Qatari investors.

Ratcliffe has given his strongest indication yet that he has funding in place, working with two prolific investment banks for several weeks, which they are prepared to back his offer for Manchester United with bounds and loans beyond the value of £659m.

While a bid from Qatar has not yet landed, sources in Doha believe one could well be forthcoming before the deadline.

At list five serious buyers are preparing to make offers to buy Manchester United. Sources familiar with the process believe there is enough interest for the Man u owners to secure an accepted price which would be in excess of £5bn.
